So had a nice car ride today. The 6hr drive took 5. It was pretty nice and sweet. And then....
As we are pulling into the Peking garage the 8 year old pukes all over everything and everyone. Including my iPad.
Fun Freaking Times. Happy New Years.

I'm not sure if I should be mad that you none of you saw that I said "ostrich sized" in an argument a few posts ago.. or warm and fuzzy because you caught it and realized it was just my dry sense of humor.

Now I can't wait to get home so I can post a picture of six individual bottles of Southern Tier IPA, each roughly ten minutes apart.

I got a good chuckle out of it!

Now I'm curious how long it'll take other folks to get the message. Those who had to work today and didn't read back to catch up...

I dont think itll take long. The old thread has pretty much been abandoned.

Are we still doing sweet jackets for members of the 100k post clubs?

Of course we still get jackets! Just newer and more awesome jackets than the old lame ones.

Very productive week at work, with some hopefully good things looming. So a little good luck beer out of the cellar. Thanks @finsfan ! This is delicious, great barrel notes and sherry overtones on normal CS Funk.

Still not sure if I'm posting in the right thread. I did include my ****ty countertop though.

Cheers bud!

Well, drinking water. For some reason the ice at keystone decided to throw me off a trail and into a snow maker yesterday. Still rode but my ankle was killing me afterwards yesterday. Feeing better today but still have quite a bit of pain when turning it left or right. Gonna ride today at angel fire but not planning to enjoy it. ;)

O, and you will all be jealous when we are consuming these later tonight finally. View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1451576205.865988.jpg

At least someone appreciates the things I do around here.

God. That looks so good. I haven't had eggs all week and I've never had poached eggs. Got a basement or attic I can come live in? Will draw for food.

Never had poached eggs!!!! The horror.

Best type of egg there is IMO.

Got a spare bedroom. Door's always open to you should you ever, through some twist of fate, find yourself in Dallas.

I've had eggs for breakfast every day for the past two years, if not longer. Until this week, when I ran out and haven't been out to the farm to get more. Poached eggs sound hard. Breakfast is normally me trying to make an omelette and settling for scrambled eggs

Are there bunk beds? I liked Sioux Falls as a central meeting place, but I haven't been to the dentist in a while.

Never stop what you are doing haha

I told that story just for your enjoyment haha.

Unless someone already drank them a refilled them with a delicious HB sour, nah, not that jealous.

Hope your ankle heals quickly. Took me the better part of a month after a bad fall early last season.

O i got plenty of sours! And thanks, i hope its nothing too bad. Feels like a strained or pulled muscle. Obviously sucks it happened on the first day

They really are simple.

  • Small pot of water
  • Bring to a boil
  • Add 1 tbsp of white vinegar at some point before adding eggs(this is the trick to perfect poached eggs IMO)
  • Kill the heat
  • Crack eggs and gently open them into the no longer agitated water.
  • Put lid on pot
  • Think about CAD/space/NPT fittings/new puppy for 4 minutes
  • Take eggs out and place atop their awaiting toast/ham/salmon/arugula cushion shielding them from possibly too cool a plate.
  • Crack some black pepper, a whisper of salt (to taste, some prefer a smidgen)
  • Gobble up

Coffee at work. Sorry no countertop, I work out of my truck most of the day.

Hrm... While poached is great, I still think a light over easy is better. Add some leftover beans, a scattering of cheese, salt and pepper. Plop that egg on top and let the yolky goodness drip into the mixture. Breakfast, solved.

No bunks but I'm sure after you change into your night-time Bōgu pjs you'd be able to squeeze between CAD and his entourage.
