Glad you found us. That place has nice tables.

Home from the NYEE thing. A couple of hotties showed with some fancy vodka and got my lady sideways. Then we left before the hotties got sideways. Home. Mild. I like my countertops.

That's some top notch photography Holmes.

These hotties of which you speak, any pics? Did it happen?;)

Seriously though, I really want the same general feel here as we had in what I considered "our" thread. It was open, accommodating, and it featured some of the finest counter surfaces I've ever seen.

Another bomber of mild is about to die. I'm too drunk not to drink.

Figure that out.

Wife is telling me we need to replace the counter tops with stone when I tile the floor and back splash this Spring.

Desktop users, we're leaving people in the now dead thread. Tag them here ASAP. @Brizzo has a great floor project I'd like to keep tabs on befor that thread goes to scroll forever land.

Do it. Tile the counters with matching grout. It's a nice clean cheap look.

I'm the son of a cabinet guy. I'm loving the new focus n countertop material, even if it's a joke.

Our kitchen is the same tile on the counter and floor but in different dimensions (12x12 on the counters and 18x18 on the floors). It really ties the room together, man.

I'm thinking soapstone or quartz.

Although I saw there is a composite that is made with old beer bottles.

White subway tile with dark grey grout on back splash. Floor will be wood grain barn floor 6 by 24 tiles.

Thinking the cabinets might need to be replaced on the bottom due to the previous owner's obsession with glue and fasteners.

I love you guys. Your hearts fit flooring and counters really makes me warm inside. Either that or this bigass Tripel.

I like. All of it.

Yeah no. Physical labor is out. I like to keep my back loose for the ladies.

Bwaaaaagahahaha.

Smart man. I'm usually beat by the time I get home from work.

But man, those floors and back splash are going to look good.
