6 AM, every morning, there's a little blonde furball on my head. She doesn't want anything ever, she just wants to be on my pillow.

The first day we had her we left her to explore for a bit in the living room. She walked around, smelling everything. Walked to the coffee table, proceeded to chew on the corner of the damn thing while looking at it, like it was a completely normal thing to do where she was before.

Rescues. Sheesh

Ours did that last year too. Mostly because the boy had his nose buried in his iPad and ignored her, so she started eating out of boredom. Same thing happened to the rug in the TV room. Since I assumed responsibility for her there have been no incidents. We also found the proper toys for her to gnaw on to keep her happy. The kong stuff can't be beat for indestructibility, and the nylon bones last several months (compared to the lighter weight stuff that wouldn't even last a day.)

Both of our pups were rescues, and you could tell right off the bat they had zero attention paid to them.
