Oh you got so hung out to dry (geographically speaking). Arf arf, chortle chortle.

I'd crack some effort at a gag about Idaho potato farmers or Montana cowboys looking for Minnesota bound Billy, if my geography wasn't adequately poor enough to leave me doubting if perhaps some sort of Wyoming stereotype would be more applicable as the center-point of any barbed witticism.

To be on the safe side I'll merely posit this

Had a fun night with the Russian and his wife. He spent the last few weeks in Taiwan, and made it sound like the best place ever. Apparently they're thinking of even moving there already. It's got me curious. Anyone been?

Plus, as a joke last time he went home he picked up my wife some very cheesy pro-Putin propaganda tshirts (official ones, no less, at least that's what he said). I was hoping one was Putin shirtless riding a bear, but no such luck. I'm not sure why this all happened, I'm assuming she asked for them because it's really funny.

Drinking my Petite Saison. No pic because lazy.

That's it! I was not prepared for this kind of abuse. I'm leaving and going to start posting in a thread where those kind of off topic hurtful comments aren't allowed! A place where all I'll see are pictures and won't be insulted. A place where everybody knows my name and they're always glad I came. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful woman instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.

Tl;dr
On to this.

Meh, I make it a habit of not purchasing products with negative descriptive words on the label.

Isn't the 'not' in 'Not your father's girly juice' a negative descriptor?

I'm going with 'yes' and you're a hypocrite.

Reported.

Maybe. But we would have to assume that your father's girly juice was a good product. Therefore, the "not" in not your father's girly juice would be negative because it's implying that this particular product is not as good as your father's, and thus, bad.

Go back and take a look.
Boom!

Touche.

Tripel. Time to kill this batch. 2.5 years is old enough.

It's excellent now with age. I would make it ASAP if you want to give it away at the end of this year to give time for racking and waiting for it to clear completely before bottling. I used Jack Keller's recipe. You can find it on his site or there's a thread started by Yooper based off his recipe.

Nice I've seen that recipe so I was hoping it was the one you used. I'll have to make it soon. Thanks!

You've had it right? I'd buy 3-4 at that price.

This is the last one I've seen though... Might be a few months.

Long time ago on tap. I need to go buy some.

Missed out on Backwoods Bastard this year. Came and went before I saw it. (Attn: @hawgwild81 )

Taiwan, .. Anyone been?
.

I've been three times. It's a great place.

The food is some of the best if not the best I've eaten anywhere in the world. All sorts of amazing culinary offerings to explore.

The landscape is incredible. If you like hiking, climbing, biking, birding, surfing or a bunch of other stuff it's worth seeing.

Friendly folks. I've always enjoyed myself there.

Beer wise, things are weak. I believe there are two state owned large breweries that have pretty much wiped out the market. When last I visited there were some better offerings from these breweries.

My FIL had stocked the fridge with all sorts of German beers. Really quality stuff if you like that sort of thing.

I have 2 left of the BB... Got lucky last week on a random pack sitting warm in the corner.

Also, Central Waters' BBA Stout is really good. Shame that it's a tad lower than 10%, but solid as hell.

2014. Showing some acetic, but still pretty great. Getting blended with a RIS in a minute.

I generally think The Bruery beers aren't nearly worth the price but decent (just way overpriced). I thought that one was *almost* justifiable. I don't mind a little acetic in a Flemish ale.

What is, things Jared from Subway was overheard saying.

Too soon?

I don't think so, but I am a horrible person.

Apparently.

Lately my joke anytime anything involves prison is "Say hi to Dr. Huxtable for me" followed by a joke about him getting a new jello puddin pop.

Same thing. F*** rapists and pedophiles. There, I said it.

Hmmm...that versus the apparent Hello Kitty themed dessert restaurant, I don't know what to think.

There's plenty of that to go around too so don't be too dispirited.

And if you get the hankering, there's an Irish themed potato restaurant.

Brought a tear to my eye.
