Some white wine to start 2016 classy. Didn't even put an ice cube in it. Time for another glass.

@barrooze 's Old Ale from 2013 (at least).

It was hiding with the vertical of HopSlam I have going in the back of the fridge.

Thanks for sharing Alex, it is delicious with a twinge of tart like I imagine a proper English Old Ale (in a historic context).

One more. Wee Heavy. Piss off.

I'm not going to be happy in the AM. I'm not getting up early to watch Liverpool embarass themselves, I'd rather sleep. At least my match isn't until Sunday. COYS

Congrats. Jealous as feck.

I wish it was reality. My wife is reading aloud their labour laws. Better than my old union contract. Weather is still a touch warm for me, but I'd deal. Almost two months leave either guaranteed or paid BY LAW every year. I can deal with that.

Plus dodos or some such sh**.

One more. Maybe. Petite Saison. I don't know. I'm having fun.

I'm probably not going to bed tonight. I may sick at some point. Lol.

I want a fecking cigar. March will be 3 years since I quit. *********.

Quitting is for quitters. And no way in hell will I quit cigars. I only get in a few a week, but that's my time and keeps me from throwing boot parties for people and by default keeping me out of lockup

See, Tart of Darkness I thought was an overpriced unbalanced ripoff. Sour Stouts are hard (impossible? don't think I've ever had one I'd call perfect) to get right. Cantillon *almost* did it with '15 Zwanze- it was balanced, which most sour stouts I've had are not, but boring as a result. But that one was the closest I've had (aside from my own, but I'm probably biased and which admittedly has balance problems and harshness, much like Tart of Darkness does, but more character than the '15 Zwanze).

Melange 1 is my favorite from the series. A near perfect blend of tart of darkness and black tuesday. You pick up the tastes and scents from both brews, it's really damn good.

Blanket parties are better, but only if you can get a few others to get in on with you.
