I just love using a finishing hydrometer. It's just so....final
That's similar to how I feel about stainless bling

Just got to work and found a nice little Finnish care package. This is really good chocolate

Ever tried to finish a box of Finnish chocolates while using your finishing hydrometer on your finished beer?

I've tried a fair amount of smoked beers. Hated them all BUT one. That one was made by the guy at our LHBS and it was just spot on perfect.
The only candy I eat is a piece from the Russian at work. His family sends him a box of chocolates each year and he shares them with us at the yearly engineering meeting. Each one has something inside, but none of us read Russian. He claims one is poison and just evil laughs, then straight faces us and eats one. Don't even care. It's good chocolate.
Because it's Tuesday and cold and snowing and I hate it here.

Haha just picked it up a couple weeks back and finally using it today. I figured a more precise final gravity reading wouldnt hurt knowing about. I like it so far!
Coffee still, probably need to switch to water soon.
What about that sponge candy krap?
I've heard they are even more fragile that the regular hydrometers. Thinner glass and all.
What should I brew this coming weekend? On hand I have (but open to getting stuff):
Pilsner
2Row
Roast Barley
Munich
Vienna
Maybe some C60
Chico and ESB strains. Also have the Pils going I might be able to pull some yeast off of, but that'll just be a week old so not sure if only bad early-poopers would be flocced out by then. Oh, have a Brett cake too.
Saaz on hand
Guess I could do a German Pale Ale or something. Pils and Saaz with chico? Not sure. Maybe I'll just pick up some wheat and bug blends and finally start a Flanders Red.

A Vienna lager with Vienna/Munich/Pils and some of the yeast you would have saved from your starter for the Pils were you not too lazy to harvest some/make a starter.

The neck of it is very thin but i have a good track record with hydrometers. Ive only broken one in almost three years. Knock on wood.

Hah! Starters are for suckers. Buy a 200B pitch and go to town. Then harvest slurry from the conical for next time.
What about that sponge candy krap?
You need to give us fair warning before posting this ugly abomination of a beverage.
Sponge candy is really good. I just don't eat sweets. We used to hit Captain and Coke so hard that after one Super Bowl party, I could no longer physically stomach soda or candy. Never looked back.
Oh, I was talking about that stupid looking glass. His gray beer doesn't bother me.
Yeah think I'mma brew up a Stupid Sexy Flanders this weekend. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=241728 looks good, although a bit busy. 7 different grains? I might be too lazy to weigh that many out.
I don't even know the name of that type of glass.
