Who is that handsome SAISON **** ?
Seems legit. They were letting people fill out order forms well into the night and Rum 4 Elf was not good. Not sure what to think about this, posted by Dark Horse this morning:
All we have leftover from the 4 Elf Party is the following:
Vintage 2014 Plead the 5th - 13 cases & 1: 4 pack
Rum BA 4 Elf Winter Warmer - 97 cases & 2-4 packs
A-Morse gettin' them nipz hard.
Where. The ****. Were you?A-Morse gettin' them nipz hard.
Where. The ****. Were you?
Turnout was low for the recognizable Michiganders. Actually, there weren't a ton of people I recognized like in years past.
Usual Jackie O's crowd came to 4elf, and usual 4elf crowd went to Jackie O's.From the pickup window, direct quote while showing ID: "Illinois, huh? We're seeing about the same number of you folks, but a LOT more people from Ohio for some reason."
I was at a robotics competition with my son Friday and Saturday. I'll be down at Kuhnhenn donkeypunching my liver this coming weekend.Where. The ****. Were you?

Cool. Thats the info I needed. My brother went down last year and arrived mid-afternoon and was able to get two cases and some rum 4 elf still. It seems the last two years arriving anytime on Saturday works out, except you have to wait around a lot. I think he was there around 2 and gone by 6ish.
That's my plan.Cool. Thats the info I needed.
I figure I'd roll in noonish and be willing to hang out a bit.
That's my plan.
They have largely separated the bottle release from the party because so many people do only one or the other. So yest to both for question 1.So I've never gone before, but am considering doing so this year. A few questions:
- Do people mostly go here for buying bottles, or for the "party"?
- Assuming I was mostly going to stick to beers on tap, and maybe only buy a nominal few bottles, what time would I want to get there?
- The food that they mention - is this supposed to be like the Bell's Eccentric events where they serve exotic meats and stuff?
- They mention the Beer Garten being open for "sharing brews" and then go on to mention "share homebrews." So is bottle sharing a big part of this? And can I share commercially produced beer, or only homebrew?
- Given the way they time things, I could see wanting to be able to come and go throughout the day. Is this allowed?
trickytunadicky answered all of these, but there will be a plethora of exotic meats such as kangaroo and whale penis in a blanket. So I've never gone before, but am considering doing so this year. A few questions:
