Well, I want to see if anybody is interested in my stand. I'm wanting to sell her to help with the cost of moving to electric. This would be great for someone looking to move up from the stove like I did and do all grain. I used the MoreBeer Tippy stand as a guide, but I changed it to suite me. The stand is 48" long and 53" from ground to 3rd tier. I made the stand large enough to fit keggles on any tier.

I MIG welded this stand in 2013 with 1.5" 12 gauge Steel tubing. A couple of build pictures Here. It's a tank, I've stood on every tier. The 3 burner shrouds are from BrewSteel (Are they still around?). I started out with 3 BG12 Burners and kept the system low pressure with a 2 Stage Regulator.

This year I did a lot of upgrading on this stand. I added a Honeywell Smart Valve to automate the 2nd Tier Burner and reconfigured the gas system with BrassCraft tubing and safety valves. I upgraded the 1st and 2nd Tier burners to BG14 burners with valves from BrewersHardware. I kept the one BG12 because it is only used for strike water. I wasn't happy with the casters so I got some heavy duty ones from TSC and welded them to the stand. Installed some diamond plating at the bottom. I also repainted it with High Heat black paint.

All included:
 • Stand with Shrouds/Diamond plating
 • 2 BG14 burners and 1 BG12
 • Honeywell Smart Valve SV9501 and Pilot Burner
 • 2 Stage Regulator

I'm looking for $700 or OBO. I live in the Johnson City area of Tennessee. I do have a trailer so I could deliver it a reasonable distance. Any questions or anything I left out please feel free to PM or Post.

PS I'm NOT parting out, I have my blood, sweat, and tears in this thing.

Being in TN, I would love to have it, but alas I'm sure your asking price is beyond what I would be able to offer. Holidays and kid #2 in 3 months...
So, free bump.

I'm going to add this to the deal. This is my HLT with built in HERMs coil. All the weldless fittings are the BrewHardware and of course they're solid. The HERMs coil is from Stainless brewing, 25 ft in length. Sight glass has port with included thermowell. $800 takes the stand and HLT.

Good luck to ya. Should you also have a second hobby of scuba/cave diving, I have quite a bit of technical diving gear for sell or trade. It doesn't quite help with your effort to recoup cost for your new stand but it would add to another expensive hobby. lol

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.

Call me ignorant, but can you explain what the herms coil and sight glass is for? I'm interested, but not sure if I wanna go that big.

Yes sir. I mash using using a HERM system. I recirculate the mash from MLT through the coil. The Honeywell valve automates the burner under the keggle, turning on the gas and lighting when mash temp drops too low and turns off when too high. So basically creating a warm water bath for the mash recirculating through the coil. After mashing I use the water in the keggle to sparge, and the sight glass takes the guessing out of how much volume I've used to sparge. Helps to not overshoot you're preboil volumes. You have any more questions just let me know.

Lol, of course. I'm in Memphis. Like the stand but I'm probably moving in the next year and don't want to try to move one. Like the HLT though. Gotta get me one of those!

Asking price?

Sorry--rather new around here. Got to thinking I might should have asked that in a PM...

Ah. FWIW the homebrewtalk app for phones cuts of your first post right after the first paragraph. I had to open the thread in a browser to see the rest of it. Thought I was going nuts because there was no price anywhere to be found!

Anyway, sweet deal! I'm giving it some serious consideration. Just got to figure out how I can launder some money because of SWMBO ;)

Sorry I didn't want to post the price in 2 places especially if I change it and cause some confusion.

Haha I know how that is.
