First time brewing, but 2 spots appeared that look like mold, after a week fermenting, but are now gone, lost cause ?

I took a taste, and unbelievably delicious. Too bad, we dumped it, but my son said 9% alcohol, again, took a tiny taste in a small spoonful, and unbelievably delicious.

Lesson learned at this point. Next time, don’t dump. I’ve only dumped 3 or 4 batches in almost 20 years. That’s because I didn’t like the experimental recipe design, none were because the batch got funky.

Should have waited for a reply! If it tastes good and smells good it's probably good. That was likely just yeast. Mold typically gets bigger not goes away. Sounds like it would have been a good beer. 🤷
I was a bit nervous it was green with a white outline, but only 2-3 small spots, but like I said, I took a small taste, and really good

Understand but even if it was something maybe not so good it wouldn't hurt to have it hanging out in there for a while longer. Ah, well, we all can get impatient, especially in the early days of our brewing journey. I say whatever it is, just wait a little longer. 🍻🍻

My two cents, but that looks suspiciously like something that came out of my plate chiller a few months back after I didn't let it drain completely. It was a mold (don't ask me how I know, but it was disgusting) and took forever to clean it out. I would look at all your equipment and give it as deep a clean as you can. That slimy mold can grow in lots of different places. As others have said above, if it tasted good on packaging it probably was good, however.
