So this is just an idea, of making an IPA using 10 different types of hops, all 1/2 oz additions, with 8 of the additions in the last 7 minutes of the boil. Something like this...
1/2oz Magnum @ 60min
1/2oz Columbus @ 45min
1/2oz Amarillo @ 7min
1/2oz Simcoe @ 6min
1/2oz Centennial @ 5min
1/2oz Cascade @ 4min
1/2oz Chinook @ 3min
1/2oz Ahtanum @ 2min
1/2oz Summit @ 1min
1/2oz Sorachi Ace @ FO
Comes out to around 80 IBU's, and I'm thinking just a Single Malt to an OG of 1.065 - 1.070.
What do you think, Cool? Lame? or just Meh?
