So I put together my first recipes last night and did a Apfelwein and a mead. I was very meticulous about using the sanitizer bucket with starsan and a spray bottle full of it anytime anything touched any surface.

I woke up this morning in a cold sweat. I realized that I put in the starsan in the bucket with the idea that I would just make half a bucket and then filled it all the way instead of halfway. Dawned on me this morning. I thought I made it through my first experience without any brain farts. I was wrong.

Risk???:drunk:

You should be fine.

My first brew I used the cleaner that came with my brew kit and never even used a proper sanitizer. I was very careful to sanitize everying, only to later realize I did not use any sanitizer but just a cleaner.

Beer is a lot more resiliant than we tend to think.

I did the same thing on my first batch... Tasted fine when I bottled it!

The concentrations involved are sufficient to allow for dilution if you just increase the time items soak in it.
