I have a cider that I was going to attempt to wash the yeast from.My wife loves it, so I make the same cider a lot. I figured I would save a little money on yeast. I don't do secondary, just primary and I back sweeten with apple juice concentrate when I keg. I used potassium sorbate and potassium metabisulfite a few days before I cold crash to stop any further fermentation when I back sweeten. It occurred to me after I put them in that I may have totally killed any chance of having viable yeast after it's washed. Is that the case? Next time, I will rack into secondary before I put those things in. But I was wondering if there is any point to trying to wash the yeast this time.

Thanks
