I did an all grain porter last year and then got called away for wor. Long story short is it has been in the primary for a year and I just bottled. Do you think it will be nasty? Or do I have a slim chance it will be ok?

Did you taste a sample of it? If it's autolysis it will be unpalatable... other than that it should be fine.

There have been many posts on here about that. The general consensus is, Yes, No, Yuck, Maybe, but mainly, as said in the last post, did you taste it yet. Regardless, what do you have to loose.

Fruity should give u hope... The fear about long fermentations is autolysis (which would make u gag)... Give it time and it will be fine.

carbing may take a while as the majority of the yeast was dormant or dead. but given 2 months in the bottle, you may have something worth drinking.

thanks for your service.
Welcome home!
