So I've done 4 batches so far.

My first two batches I cooked on the stove and they both came great. However, I don't really remember tasting them when I racked them to the secondary or during bottling.

My last two batches I cooked on a higher output outdoor stove and both these batches have been racked and I did taste them when I did the gravity readings. They both had an odd flavor to them. I'm not really sure if this is normal or if something happened here. I'm worried that my crappy granite ware brew pot couldn't handle heat of the cooker (i didn't have it on full blast and tried to control the heat) and it picked up some off metallic flavor.

Or am I just being paranoid?
