pbw for clothes

In a pinch, can I use pbw for cleaning a load of laundry? I'm out of regular detergent atm. I know oxiclean should work, but wanted to make sure I won't bleach anything. I know it doesn't contain hypochlorite.

Just wanting to know if it will screw with colors etc. Guess I'm about to find out! Tub filled with quarter strength 110degF water....

Are you using PBW or Oxy Clean?

Oxy Clean is made for use with laundry.

PBW. I know there are extra ingredients in pbw over oxiclean... hope those don't mess with color...

That's some pricey laundry detergent! How did it work out?

Seemed to work well. Bled some colour out of some cords, but they were new (one prior wash), and that might have happened with any old detergent.
