Hey guys,

I brewed my first batch five weeks ago. It was a brewers best Belgian Tripple. It is still carbonating, but I've tried it and I like it. One week ago I brewed my own creation. It is a Christmas porter. I just racked it to secondary and took a little taste. So far, it is as I expected. Maybe a little to much spice, but I'll see when it is all done.

Anyway, I am happy to be here. I've used this site for advice a lot already. I'm thankful it exists.

Best,

Drew

Welcome to the club!

the spices in your christmas porter will mellow over time - carbonation will change the flavor profile quite a bit.

Hey Dave,

I'm glad there's other folks representing MD here! I just made a Maryland Brewers group, join me, we'll get a network going!
