Love the avatar. Blackmon is a beast. He'll be starting in place of Harris soon, mark it down.

Ted Thompson is surprising me. I really thought he was a loser. But he seems to be building a good young team. Blackmon has shown some spark. I hope he stays healthy.

Jenna Von Oy (best known as Six from the TV show 'Blossom'

Before my time: Bruce Jenner "World's Greatest Athlete," zillion-time gold medal winner triathalon/decathalon recent contestant on "Dancing with the Stars." Although I believe he was only at my school for like 1 year.

Casey Blake (plays for the Cleveland Indians). He was two years behind me in school. And now several million dollars ahead of me.

John Matuszak from the Oakland Raiders and a few movies (North Dallas Forty)
Tim Hermeing, a Marine guard at the Iranian embassy who became one of the 53 hostages in the early 1980s. He was the one whose mother went ot visit him while he was captive.

Sorry everyone. I like your effort on famous people that went to your high school. Hopefully this will trump all, if not for just the fact that I am going to admit this.

I graduate from the same high school as Billy Ray Cyrus...King of all that is Mullett!!!

My little sister was Brad Pitt's high school sweetheart. It has been all down hill for him ever since!

Did you grow up in missouri? As far as I know Brad Pitt and his brother grew up in springfield about 10 miles away from me. I may be wrong, kind of like everyone around here claims to be related to Jesse James. :D

Yes, I grew up in Spring-patch, Missouri. Brad went to a different HS, but somehow met my sister. I think it was some student council connection.

By the way, my grandad always said we were related to Jesse James!

Where did you grow up?

My wife IS actually related to Jesse James. Someone along the way on her mom's side was married to Frank James, who I believe was Jesse's brother.

Deon Sanders, Jevon Kearse, Noel Devine (running back for WV) My old highschools put out a few pro football players

My grandmother was a 'Mimms', and I guess one of them rode with JJ.

SIL did a microfiche search in DC about '75, and says I'm related to Wild Bill Cody.

Mom says one of her relatives (Brown) was in the Boston Tea Party.

I've always wondered if my great grandfather willing left Germany or was kicked out, but my name is a town near Stuttgart.

Literally no one. No one that I know who is even semi-famous graduated from my High School which was not that small. We have 300+ in our Graduating class.

Too many to mention, the present one, while not being a great example due to his perceived incompetence is Brian Cowen the Irish Taoiseach (prime minister).

A lot of politicians in general which is possibly a bad thing, the school was an exclusive boarding school.

The band, "Black Stone Cherry" is from my highschool, hometown. I remember when they were just some young punks practicing music in the loft of a local business. They are all good boys though. And they rock:rockin:

The only even remotely famous person I can think of from my high school is Kelli Giddish. She stars in that NBC show Chase. I used to work with her at a pizza place in high school. Kind of weird seeing someone you sorta know playing a character on TV.

Lewis Sanders was the starting Safety for my football team who's job in practice to knock the crap out of my, the second strong running back. He went on the spend 9 years in the NFL.

I got you all beat...

David Hasselhoff

Other famous guys but can't really compete with "The Hoff":
Jeff Hornacek (NBA player)
John McWethy (Emmy and Edward R Murrow award winning journalist)

We have a guy who decided to open fire on a police station, the virginia tech shooter, a small heroine ring arrested, a porn star and a few professional athletes (Eddie Royal the most notable).

And my high school was 7 years old and had almost 5,000 students

Tim Laudner (MLB)
Pat Neshek (MLB)
Krissy Wendell (Women's Hockey Silver Medalist)
Tim Jackman (NHL)

Musician Frank Zappa went to my high school.
Famous person I knew would be Debbie Pollack who played "Dong's" girlfriend in the movie "Sixteen Candles".

Martin Lawrence is probably the best known.

Sergey Brin (Co-Founder of Google) is probably the richest.

Several NFL and NBA players - most notable Delonte West who did LeBron's Mom...allegedly.

umm according to Wikipedia there are 2, but I know of 3

The two on Wiki

-Some teen semi-finalist on Jeopardy back in 1997
-My brother who was drafted in the NHL Draft a few years ago

The one not on Wiki

My High School doesn't have the best alumni lol
