For those with MLB gameday audio, this is worth going back and listening to the archive for.....listen in the bottom of the sixth innning. Classic Uecker. :rockin:

(EDIT: Bottom of the 6th starts at 206:45, funny stuff starts at 209:25, but you should listen to the beginning of the inning to get the whole joke.)

What sucks more is a I can't find it. Not that I looked hard, but where I thought it was it is not; only some corny caracature <sp> poster of yount and 3000. I think I had it in a frame. Swmbo?

Looks like the brewers may sweep WA. I've not yet committed myself to peeing my pants. I need to review the rules more in depth. EDIT - WOA! 2 days ago that list had 8. Now 127...

Well, he wasn't on there when I first looked (I honestly think there were 14 people on the list at that point), and I didn't see him again.

Bird, don't sell yourself short- we didn't need any more proof. :p

I am a Brewer's fan, but sorry, I just can't do this. I'll do something else, though- drink a beer for each run scored, wear a Brewer's T-shirt, go to a game. But can't do this one.

I don't get to see many games (one on ESPN this year so far) so it's tough to follow them as much as I'd like. Thanks for this thread- so I can read about the team and promotions.

BTW, I'm not sure who my fave is, prolly Tony Gwynn, or maybe Turnbow with his huge Dumbo ears:D
 
Wow. this is just incredible-
24-10, 7 games ahead of the second-place Cubs. When was the last time the Brewers had a seven game lead in their division? Let's all say it together: 1982!
I still expect nothing, I'm trying not to get too geeked up, I'm just going to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.

So I was at the game Friday just looking around, and once again noticed the sad little vines they have had trying to climb the wall in centerfield for the last several years...and I got to thinking, which is always dangerous.

They need hops.

Come on, they're the Brewers for God's sake, they need to tear out those vines and replace them with hop plants. It'll be more interesting watching how they take over that wall as the season progresses, and then they can harvest them and get someone to use them to make a "Brew Crew' Beer made with real Miller Park hops that could be served at the stadium the following season.

And somehow SEWAGE has to get in on this gig.

Now that's an idea! I suggest you call/email Bill Micheals tonight on Sports central. If anyone can get the ball rolling on that, it's him.
 
I prolly jinxed the crew big time tonight. I got an e-mail from DirecTV for an offer of free Superfan if I purchased the MLB Extra Innings package, so I went ahead and did it.

You know that just the fact that I made that post means that the Phils will get slaughtered tonight... thus a win for your beloved Brewers. You should be thanking me :)
 
Whew! Off the schnide, finally. Time to get back home for a few and hopefully open up some whoop-ass on the Twinkies. They're no pushovers, either, though.
 
Hopefully they continue winning again, SWMBO and I are going tomorrow night. They better beat the Twins, the Twins have a guy named Boof Bonser pitching, sounds like a half-assed attempt at a porn star name.
