Is THIS too good to be true?? possible instant kegerator

I was searching Target for water coolers to use as a Mash Tun, and this thing popped up. It's a Black and Decker bottom loading 5gal water-cooler tower.
I wonder if you could just stick a completed carboy under it?

I could be wrong, but I believe that the water is drawn up out of the room temp water jug then cooled in a tank before dispensing. Similar to the way the gravity feed units work.

I doubt it would work well for beer dispensing.

Perhaps more research is in order to verify that that is how it operates.

Wouldn't you be missing the carbonation step? The beer in a carboy is still flat.

Ahhh! DANG! totally forgot about carbonation. Completely unworkable unless you dispense flat beer. I just thought of that, and popped back in to write it but you beat me to it.

You could do uncarbonated apfelwine, but I would be worried about exposure to the atmosphere.

Or most any wine but man cleaning that would be a pain and a half and sanitation would be iffie at best.
