I recently got a new job at Great Lakes Brewing Company. So, I decided it is time to make a massively delicious beer with the help of HBT. (That's where collaboration comes in)
I want to do a parti gyle so that I have an imperial (thinking stout) and then a smaller version. I haven't sat down and formulated a grain bill yet, as I'm still tossing around ideas as to what exactly I want to brew, and I'd like to hear what you all think, ideas, etc.
Initially I'm thinking imperial stout with tons of coffee notes, LOTS of chocolate, dark and rich, a little spice such as ginger or clove, definitely bourbon, perhaps a little lactose for a creamy feel. I'm even considering throwing a small about of figs in there.
Then for the smaller beer I was thinking oatmeal stout.
I'm taking cues from the following threads so far:

I really like azscoob's pumpkin seed idea.
Perhaps use these oak chips to get the bourbon flavor?

I want this beer to be incredibly complex and like nothing I've ever tasted before. I'm not too concerned with throwing too much in the pot because I like overbearing huge flavors with sharp contrast. I'll sit down and do a grain bill when I get some more ideas from you guys.
Opinions?
Cheers
