Well, I am back. I had to take a couple of years off to evaluate my home brewing hobby. The problem was... I was spending more time and more money building ever more complex brewing systems and the quality of my beer was going down, no up. Also, I was spending 6-7 hours each brew session (start up to finishing clean up) and doing this every weekend.
On top of that I was gaining weight like an Oprah guest.
So, now... its back to basics. No making up custom recipes, no buying in bulk (to hard to keep 100% fresh), no RIMS, no HERMS... straight batch sparging. No equipment taking up a ton of room in the garage and the basement, etc... I am a free man with a new start!
