Aloha,
Recently scored a huge chest freezer (24 cf) on CL. Want to replace my inefficient OLD Beverage Air two tower (6 taps). The wires going to the top seem to be for the light and control panel. Are there coils in the lid? I want to just use the towers, as there is plenty of space in there. Not opposed to making a collar though. Was thinking of cutting the lid in two pieces. One smaller with the towers fitted on. And a bigger section to open to change kegs. Any ideas on how to do that nicely? Will I need fans inside in general or for the towers? Can you build an insulated box around freezers if you leave holes where the vents are? I have to keep this outside. Any help is good.
