Hello everyone from a very amateur wine and beer maker!
I just want to thank all of those that make this site so great! Ive learned a lot from here and I'm in the process of making something actually drinkable! I hope to someday add the knowledge Ive learned here and personal experiences for those like me that are just starting out!

Beer = Exploding bottles = shots fired call to the cops (not a good night)
wine so far = vinegar or something worse

I tried making wine in the past with grapes from my backyard vine and ended up with a lot of vinegar.

I switched to brewing and am enjoying that my brews actually turn out to be drinkable.
