There used to be a late night TV show called Popcorn Theater that aired old movies, usually B&W sci-fis from the 50's that I liked to watch.
I was allowed to stay up late on the weekends at about age 12, so I did. :)
Regards, GF.

The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder, and also the Late Late Show with Tom Snyder.
I enjoyed both and tried to catch them frequently.
He did a lot of great interviews, but I'll always remember seeing his interview with a young Cyndi Lauper and being smitten with this wiggly, smart, cute, intelligent, sexy girl.

Was really saddened when Tom passed on.

As Tom used to say: "Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures now as they fly through the air."

It was cool, because going to the planets mentioned in the song in those days was just a distant dream. The song itself was a hit in the UK at the time.

I took moral issues with perfect strangers. Balki is a liar and tricking that poor stupid Larry.

Help me out people...

I swear I'm not dreaming this up. I used to watch a show as a small child (late 70s) and I can't remember what it was called and NOBODY I talk to about it knows the show. The show was a Japanese show centered around two small children. Anytime these children needed help they would blow a whistle and robots would come to their rescue. It seems like the show was in black & white, but I could be wrong. Is this a show that I actually watched, or did I just dream it up as a kid?

EDIT: The show was live action. Not animated.
