Jon,

Thanks for the heads up. I had planned to come up for this release but was informed this one was not very good. They had the wild bitter available at an event during Milwaukee beer week. If they are having a parking lot bottle share like last years peach release I might consider coming up anyway just for that.

Well, my brew partner N8 tells me we need to grant this one then. I'll send a pm to you zazbnf to make sure we can work out details. N8 granted our first MAW a year ago or so, and I shopped and he shipped. With him in Seattle now I'll probably fly this one solo while he organizes a trade or two we have going. Just drank our dark lord along with some other craziness we had been saving so its time for us to get a list together again.

If confirmed one of us will get back on here.
 
Sweet. Will shop Today-Friday (making a work trip Wed/Thu) so availability just increased. Have a feeling this one might get out of hand. Plus found out its a small world and Nate and I have already granted an eMaw to zazbnf. Always fun to outdo an eMAW with a MAW.

I'll try to get a list up by Friday to keep this going, make sure I'm ready to ship before someone starts buying for me (and Nate).

N8 informs me, get up that list now, stop focusing on work.

So, since Zazbnf had such a nice list, N8 and I copied a bunch of it and added some from our older MAW list (I say ours because we will be sharing these). After my trip tomorrow night I will see if there any others I want to add. Might have a few seconds to focus on beer when I'm out of town for the night and not home with 4 kids...

We might have someone that procured a hunahpu for us, but leaving it on the list just in case that falls through. And if you are trying to think of cool extras, I've been trying to get my hands on some of the undead beers from Clown Shoes, might be easy to get for some of you and not spendy. :) And wouldn't say no to some zombie dust and gose and cool sh't you might have a 4 pack of and could spare 1.

Good call Mikeysab. I'm sure I'm okay speaking for fijigus here but any of the variants would be okay with him except for the tequila Cake. Preference on Mexican Cake would be the double barrel. Preference on the ANTEAD would be the bourbon vanilla.

Sorry for any confusion and mindfux guys. I know fijigus won't be on here for the next few days because of work. We usually share any new beers we find or receive in trades so I thought I'd chime in to hopefully get this thing moving again.

But I'm back. I'll get the PM info sent to Mike shortly. And Nate is 100% authorized to speak on my behalf. ****, I was so busy I would have missed the MAW I could fill if he hadn't pointed it out.

I got to hit up a sour place yesterday afternoon, so Zazbnf is getting a little something extra. And I got one for N8. As cousin eddie would say "Something nice Clark, something reaaaaal nice."

yep, different people. but one brain. Nate actually has all our brewing equipment up in Seattle since it would be gathering cobwebs at my place with 4 little ones running around trying to knock the airlock of our sour batch. My keg fridge isn't even turned on right now. so sad. Luckily the beer cellar is 150 deep...

think we are planning a box to you too Toby, along with one in the works to the jersey boys, so we will need to get that email chain going. This year has just been screaming by.

Alright alright alright...here's my list.

A nice box of crushable summer beers. Sours (fruited?), Berliners, wheats, etc.

Also...haven't had anything from Cantillon. Would love to try some.


Not looking for any stouts or heavy dark beers really since I'd like a box I could tear through quick.

I know some folks think a list like this is tougher than listing actual beers but that's what I've got for now. Brewery wise there's a bunch on the west coast I'd dig. No Cascade, Bruery or stuff I can get easy here.

There's a ton of great traders in here so I've got no issue leaving it in your hands.

let me amend that to say Nate is going to CA today. modern times? Bruery? Maybe home depot, maybe bed bath and beyond, depends on how much time he has I guess...

MAW is on its way to IL and tracking info sent by PM. I really want to post what I sent, but surprise is half the fun. 19.7 pounds but went with quality over quantity, so I might have overdone it on the packing material. :mug:

I ended up back at the store Saturday; think my new plan is whatever I send out in MAW, I buy one (or two) for myself too. Maybe hook up long distance cheers vs facetime, or untappd same time check ins, or something. With 4 kids the only bottle share I can make is one that's at my house.
 
Nate probably isn't picking up Mike's MAW list of sours, he is down in CA but not sure how much he will be bringing back and already had some we haven't tried yet in mind for filling his suitcase.

I haven't seen anyone chime in (after getting my balls busted being gone 2 days) so want to make sure no ones waiting on us.

But when I was down in Tillamook, I did get to see this. 2015 Mother of All Storms from Pelican just hanging out getting delicious. This year I am hoping to make the release and secure a half rack of bombers. Gonna start saving up now...
