Just brewed my first batch at my new apt. in Texas, way hotter than New England!

My Beer has been in primary for 5 days, usually at 70-72 degrees> I've been trying to keep it down but its hard working during the hottest part of the day. I tested the beer today and it's about where i want it, 1.05 --> 1.012 and doesn't taste like the heats ruined it. But i was planning on Dry Hopping.

My question is, since most of the fermentation is done, could i store my beer in my fridge and dry hop in secondary? Will it work cold?

Thanks and Cheers from a Transplant Texan.

Jack

yeah that'll work fine. since the fermentation is pretty much done your pretty much out of the danger zone though for off flavors so you don't really need the fridge unless it gets outta control hot
