There, now I've listed to every song posted in this thread.

I am so chill right now. I can deal with anything.

Chill ass hip hop, one of my favorites. Live beats, beatbox DJ, sick lyrics.

Nearly all of what I listen to at work these days is trip-hop/downtempo. I guess that says something about my stress level. I'll put some links up when I get home.

A little "intense" at times, but pretty chill on the whole.

I feel like people overuse the phrase "_____ album changed my life", but Endtroducing redefined the role I thought sampling could play in music. Amazing stuff.

I feel sure this isn't the kind of thing the OP intended, but when I want to chill I almost always go to music from the Final Fantasy series. It's also perfect music for the office. MIDI isn't for everyone, so here's some reinterpretations of some music in the from of a full orchestra and some youtube covers

You'd be wrong. I love all forms of chill, electronic video game music included.

I bet you're psyched for the FF7 re visioning?

Absolutely. I'd even consider picking up a PS4 for the sole purpose of playing it.

Here's another chill piece from FF7 from a really talented youtuber.

Im so happy I saw this thread. I've been obsessed with Trip Hop and Downtempo stuff for a while now. Aside from Massive Attack, Portishead, Hooverphonic, DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin, UNKLE, Nujabes etc you know all the staples, here's a few gems I've managed to dig up. If you like any of the previous artists mentioned I'd encourage you to check any of these out:

Blue Sky Black Death - all their instrumental solo albums are spectacular, also do collaboration albums with various artists
Archive - controlling crowds (amazing 4 part concept album that's like progressive trip hop)
Dadamnphreaknoizphunk
Death In Vegas - contino sessions & dead elvis
Saltillo - Ganglion
Nightmares on Wax - carboot soul
Thievery Corporation - Sounds from thievery hi-fi
