Just posting the standard intro thread.
Not new to the interweb, been a car guy and apart of a ton of car forums for years. Got into brewing about 18 months ago and have not looked back.
A software engineer by day, I have found my calling in life to brew beer.
Started with basic kit from some website from my GF, brewed a ton of extract, stepped up to full boiling, and finally took the leap to all-grain. Still adding hardware and getting my procedure down, but I seem to make some pretty good beer.
Started a blog to keep track of my addiction. Current address is http://brewphilia.wordpress.com but recently purchased a few domains as future placeholders for my brewery.
If anyone is in CT or the tri-state area in general, maybe I'll catch you at some beerfests or Maltose Express in CT.
