I'm intrigued by what this company is doing and will be near a homebrew shop that carries many of their strains soon... Has anyone pitched these strains in cider?

The P1 Musserweissen strain sounds very interesting, it produces banana and clove notes in beer like a German wheat yeast, but was harvested from dwarf peaches in Clemson's fruit garden. I know people have had great success pitching Weihenstephan wheat yeast into ciders recently, so this sounds like it may be worth a try.

If anyone has experience using Southyeast strains in cider, I'd love to hear about it! If not, I'll report back with results from experimental batches in coming months...

To somewhat answer my own question for those interested:

I received info off a sell sheet from a shop, it turns out Southyeast has a native cider strain. They are currently producing only for production breweries until their commercial lab is up and running (end of 2015). Here's the info:

Strain Code: N3
Name: Native Cider
Origin: South Carolina Nectarines
Classification: Wine
Attenuation: 83.2
Acid production: None
Esters: Apple Cider
Phenolics: Light Pepper Spice
Recommended Pitch Rate: 1.0m
Flocculation: High

Sounds awesome! Definitely looking forward to trying it out when it's back in stock.
