After reading many, many, many "Oh my god my beer is infected" posts, I kept my nerves under wraps about my second brew (extract IPA w/ specialty grains). Definitely had me worried as I tasted my reading samples. Well, I tried it after only two week in the bottle last night....... Wow!!! I dun good. I'm not one to toot my own horn, but, BEEP BEEP. I know it still has a little ways to go, but I couldn't get over how good it tastes. I made SWMBO try it, and though IPA's are not her thing, she said it tasted just like good beer. I'm definitely still a noob, but these are the moments I was hoping for when I started this.

My message is "RDWHAHB" is more than just a clever add on to posts. Keep it clean and let things happen. Don't think something is infected until you taste it, and take good notes (I defiantly want to recreate this one).

Recipe to follow.
