Always looking for new forums to visit to get ideas for here.

What other forums do you frequent?

I found this place through Jeepforum, of course. Unfortunately this hobby has killed my jeeping habit though. I have no money for the Jeep! hoever I still check in over there quite often.

As for other interests, I am a sports nut. Green Bay Packers most importantly. I frequent a forum for WI sports called www.timesfour.com , which IMHO is the best forum for breaking news in the NFL/Packers, period. The Packer fans are scattered all over the globe and post as soon as they hear anything new. It kicks ass.

Awesome Dude. I live an hour from both Lambeau and Miller Park and I've never heard of that site. I'm a bigger baseball fan (go Brewers!) than a football fan(Go Pack!) but that site looks to keep me busy for both. So you'll probably see me posting there, now, too. Thanks for the link!

www.pavementsucks.com

It's kinda going the way of Pirate 4X4, if you know what I mean. I rarely post, just check it out a lot because there's a lot of good Dodge Ram info.

www.xlforum.net

For Harley Sportsters. Haven't been there in a while.

www.techimo.com

Good tech site. Or used to be....I haven't messed with computers much in quite some time.

And of course, the green board. Don't post a lot, but it's a pretty decent bunch over there.

I used to spend quite a lot of time at this one.

www.tropictravelonline.com

It's basically a Sandals fanboard, and there are lots better tropical travel websites, but it is a pretty decent community. And since I'm not Jamaica bound any time soon I don't visit as much as I used to. It's nice to surf in tho to see who has been there recently and what's happening...

Other than that, broadcast industry sites. Don't waste your time tho. Unfortunately my industry is heavily populated by egomaniacs and insecure children... I just work to pay the bills. :D

Hey Swami have you checked out these for Sporty info
http://www.v-twinforum.com/ and http://www.hdforums.com/ both of these have some pretty good info.

I've been a member of of the V Twin Forum for a long time, but I didn't like the direction it was going. I got kinda sick of the attitude. Then when JimmyK and his brother split, I was over on their site for a while. Haven't been to either in a long time. Never was a member of the HD Forums, though. The problem with the motorcycle forums is that when I do frequent them, I start spending even more money on the bike than I do on brewing. :D

I know what you mean, you have to find that balance between the two. Right now it's easy for me I can't spend money on either until I find a job, thank God a buddy of mine at a local micro sets me up with grain and yeast when needed.

I get made fun of here at home by the wife and friends (jokingly of course) because I have these rotating obsessions that seem to always come with fantastic help from forums just like this. I'm a computer programmer at work so that explains some of them also..

http://beginnertriathlete.com (great triathlon forum.. the guy who runs it also happens to be a homebrewer)

http://whiteblaze.net (Appalachian Trail Forum)
http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/index.php (used to get lots of live sound production and guitar gear advice here)
