I looked all over, but can't find this. Is it necessary to boil things like yeast nutrient and other addatives? I'll be adding nutrient to stalled lemonade fermentation (ie - already started fermenting, only to 1.071).

Thanks
Aaron

I've already added the appropirate amount of yeast nutrient for a batch in the last 15 minutes of the boil. You'll be fine adding it that way.

Thanks for the replies. My yeast nutrient is repackaged by my LHBS so it doesn't have real instructions on the package (just tells how much per gallon to use). As I mentioned, I'm adding this to a stuck fermentation of lemonade, so the last 15 minutes of the boil doesn't apply this time. Though when I make future yeast starters, I'll put it into the wort as I boil it.

Thanks
