    Need some help

Brewed two batches of cider. It's kegged an pressurized and I've decided I'm not done and want to play. I want to add some fruit pulp (blood orange to one for example) Fruit pulp is for brewing, and is ready to pitch from the can. I'll add another round of yeast (likely a white wine yeast) and...

    Beverage-Air 50 too loud

Ok, embarrassing that I've been putting this off so long. I have a replacement motor but have not done the replacement yet. It's where our glassware has ended up over the years and it's full since it still works well (just loud). The design is a PITA for the shroud too. I'll need to empty it...

    Ball lock faucet adapter needed

I picked up a Pera flow control faucet kit from amazon and they failed to include the adapter to go between the ball lock and the flow control faucet. Anyone have a link? Looking for one that threads to the shank, not to the faucet due to the design of the flow control.

    Beer gas options?

So, I want to do Cold Brew Coffee in the hot months, and I'd like to consider a nitro stout/porter or some such in the winter. I'm told that for coffee I should run straight nitro. Is my only realistic option to purge the bottle when I switch from straight nitro to beer gas? Looks like all the...

    stainless-steel-nitrogen-faucet and Hexavalent chromium?

This faucet looks like what I want. https://www.homebrewsupply.com/stainless-steel-nitrogen-faucet-7510.html How concerned should I be of the Hexavalent chromium warning at the bottom of the page. Thanks to Erin Brockovich, It's something I've heard of. lol. -Mav

    Liquid in gas lines

Ball locks. How do I prevent liquid sneaking into the gas line?

    Which beer faucet?

True glycol systems use a condescending sump for the glycol supply with a refrigerated coil running through it. Ends up colder than what the kegerator will keep it at.

    Condenser fan on BevAir DD50

I have a Beverage Air DD50 and the fan is annoyingly loud. Anyone ever replace this for something other than the axial fan that's on it? a turbine type fan would be quieter. Looking for links for the fan itself.

Induction or element inserted into side?

I'm not sure why you would have that much need of temp control on a BK. as long as there is some rudementary control, you're going for boil, and are going to maintain around 200f-207f for the duration IMHO YMMV.

Induction or element inserted into side?

Which would you say is the better pot? Spike or Bru Gear? I'm also looking at SS Brew Tech, but theirs might be the most expensive, with Bru Gear being the cheapest. To all: I'm currently brewing electric, with an in keggle element and only do 5g batches. I've got a home built brew-troller...

Induction or element inserted into side?

I'm debating inserting an element into a Keggle, vs a flat bottom pot on an induction burner. Let's skip the cost arguments and tell me why you would do one vs the other.

    Improvised Glycol line chiller?

Trying to help a friend. He's remodeling his kitchen, and his wife is supporting putting a three tap tower in the new space. The tower will require the supply be located either a floor below, or a floor below and several rooms away (25' or so horizontal). Dont want to go with a commercial glycol...

    Too much head

Not long, but flow control taps. And only the one line that's an issue. Three taps with secondary regulators.

    Too much head

Second commercial keg on tap. A 1/6 of Resin. Too much head. About 8psi around 36°. Thoughts?

    Beverage-Air 50 too loud

I have not. I need to do that, and I need to unplug (if I can) the existing fan and try to see how much of the noise is fan vs compressor. Back to the "pulling out from wall is a pain in the arse" problem.

    Beverage-Air 50 too loud

I'm looking at the "Can Fan Max 6inch" I figure I could fit that. Problem is, I'll have to unload the unit, and pull it out (the business end is towards the corner (plenty of airflow) so access is not "easy". The side panel is screwed on all four sides, and the top row from the inside. Access...

    Pressure for a Quad?

Sorry. Unit is around 35*. I've kicked it up based on the chart. Did that on the 9th. Now I'm waiting for the slow absorption.
