I've brewed 5 batches of the Northern Brewers Irish Red and obviously am rather fond of it....as are my family and friends. I've been reading about adding whiskey (Jameson) to the brew. Some threads I've read say to add it during the secondary and others during the bottling process. I'm looking...

I brewed a True Brew Belgian extract kit on Sunday and fermentation was fast and furious. By late Monday afternoon the process had appeared to have stopped. The lid on my plastic vessel had bulged up considerably and a little of the wort had bubbled out of the airlock. Should I be concerned? I...

Due to unforeseen circumstances I left a batch of Hefeweizen (extract) on primary for 2 months now and I was wondering if it's still ok to bottle at this point. Is there anything I should be concerned with or is it lost?
Another related question....the final gravity is 1.012 which is right where it should be but there's a fair amount of foam on top of my brew which I haven't experienced before. Should I leave it....skim it off or just give it a little more time to dissipate? Again...thanks for the help!!
