Mark already posted in the What came in the mail for you today? thread...

But I finally got my BiaB order.

Mark was awesome for receiving it and repacking it to spread the risk around over two boxes.

AND he included a snack for me while I unpacked it all. Super awesome guy that @mcbaumannerb

Thanks again Mark!

I'm holding the rest of your beer hostage [emoji48]

I might. I'm working through this first. I'll be back to tasty kake world on monday.

Dear god! Where do you find all this deliciousness?

Tuesday works, I may just take Monday off lol

Smart. Use Monday to mentally prepare for Tuesday.
By the way, that bourbon pecan pb sounds awesome. I sware you find some of the tastiest looking/sounding stuff. First bacon jam, and now this. I'm salivating over here thinking of a pb&j made with those two together.

Haha! That does sound good though......

I saw some guy asking on The Bruery Facebook page if anyone used Chocolate Rain to braise a roast.

My first thought is why? I mean it sounds great but **** it, I want to sip that stuff and enjoy it.

Use some other ****ty stout like Bomb! for that. :D

Yeah. Just seems odd that you would braise a roast with something that cost more than the roast.

No doubt, but I guess if you are HS and have 9 bottles it might be a cool thing to impress your friends. :drunk:

Yeah, if you have a bunch of it, why not? Braise meat, water the lawn, gargle, bathe, fill a water bed with it. What the hell does it matter?

I think @mcbaumannerb made some Mocha Wednesday cupcakes the other day 😊 Sounds good any way.

That would be ok but using that beer to just marinate and discard is a little crazy. I would rather pair it with some creme brulee or just drink it by itself but it's his beer so...

I'll snag you one, shouldn't be a problem. I do luck into these things...I also shop with my stomach lol

Did an awesome IP trade today with billspudley. Thanks again for hooking me up and very nice to meet you. View attachment 287253

Finsfan hooked it up as well with a fine selection from his cellar in our IP trade. Good meeting you as well, nice to have a local trader, and hopefully someone who can maybe educate a novice brewer a little as well. Third from the right seems appropriate for today...... Just sayin. (Sorry for the double post, IPad app is being troublesome)
