When you buy a beer just to compare to your homebrew an simply tell yourself.... "Ummm. Yea just what I thought, mines better"
Almost all of my beer is twist off. I use a bench capper, and I "double tap" for a good seal. By "double tap" I mean I pump the handle twice to make sure I get a good seal. You can tell it's well sealed when your bottle caps are a little bit concave on the top.
I mostly use easy-cap "grolsch" style swing-top bottles for my beer when I bottle, but if I run out it's all twist off.
I bought those 2 glass & pewter steins from Germany so the bugs can't get through the lid!

Just discovered that I don't have enough bottles for wine bottling. So I double checked how many almost empty liquor bottles I have to see if it would make up the difference.

...and had to admit that fresh Red Stripe is pretty good when its hot and you need a break from the sun and the rum, but still couldn't stop thinking about that Vienna Simcoe SMaSH carbing up at home!
Finally drinking the SMaSH now, and while I miss the beach, the homebrew isn't disappointing!

Ocho Rios is about halfway down the northern coast from Montego Bay. Negril is out on the western tip of the island...we're already thinking about going back, and will probably check out Negril next time...

For that capacity? Falsie all the way. Though I would have to add some hinges and eye bolts or something to keep it in place for the mash portion.
