Yeast Storage

Ok quick question, my LHBS doesnt refrigerate their dry yeast (or hop pellets for that matter). Is this a big deal? according to the Fermentis website the yeast should be stored below 50F. I'm a little concerned and need some input.

My LHBS also keeps the dry yeast out at room temperature and I've not had a problem, fwiw.
