Hey everybody,
I'm making my first yeast starter for a five gal batch around 1.081 OG. I determined my best course of action to be to step up the starter. I made a starter with half a cup dme and 2 cups of water, and put it in a 2L growler. My plan is to wait two days until that finishes, cold crash and decant, and then add about 1.5L more of wort, wait two more days, decant and pitch that on brew day. Does this seem sound?
