Hi Guys
This old chestnut i hear you groan!!
I washed my yeast after harvesting...usual method. I then syphoned off (very aseptic technique used) that lovely all creamy yeast layer in middle. Put it into vials in fridge a month ago and it has settled to about half of the tube. Two questions
1) What oercentage viability will it have dropped in one month? and
2) What would be a good estimate of the number of Billion cells per ml when it was harvested and now a month later
cheers guys
brewing a belgian Wit this weekend again after great results with last one.
