Can someone please explain how to use a yeast cake for another batch of beer, thanks
Plus, make sure you use a blow off tube. It should ferment vigorously.homebrewer_99 said:Make sure your wort is cooled before doing this.![]()

If I had that much in the bottom of the carboy I would wash out the yeast and get rid of the majority of the trub.jagg said:what about all the trub in the bottom of my carboy, its at least 2 or 3 inches thick, should I wash the trub out or what? I didnt strain the wort when I put it in the carboy, hence all the trub? Thanks for all the help, since I am new to this homebrew thing.
And how would you suggest I do this? ThanksBlender said:If I had that much in the bottom of the carboy I would wash out the yeast and get rid of the majority of the trub.
