you either wash the yeast (do a search, there are quite a few threads about it) or you pitch a new batch right on top, provided you have one ready

Blow off tube, Blow off tube, Blow off tube. I did this the other day, for the first time. I emptied about a third of the trub into a jar and poured the new wort on the rest. I figured since i didint use all of the yeast i wouldnt need a blowoff tube. Four hours later it was blowing out of the airlock and all over my bucket.

Hint: if you are using a bucket the racking tube fits perfectly where the airlock goes

I must reinforce the blow off suggestion. I pitched to yeast cake a couple of months ago and within 2 hours the kreusen was jetting out of the blow off tube! Check out the video in my siggie...

what about all the trub in the bottom of my carboy, its at least 2 or 3 inches thick, should I wash the trub out or what? I didnt strain the wort when I put it in the carboy, hence all the trub? Thanks for all the help, since I am new to this homebrew thing.

If I had that much in the bottom of the carboy I would wash out the yeast and get rid of the majority of the trub.

I won't pretend to be an EAC, but I believe your last question is answered in the first response to your initial question....
