I always let my stouts and porters warm up a bit. I tend to prefer my session beers and light body beers a bit colder, though..

I guess I'm the only one that thinks it's cool that yahoo is spreading the news about craft brew and proper beer drinking techniques.

Unfortunately I think this is only going to be preaching to the choir. Any BMC drinker who does think this is something to try is going to find that thier favorate beer becomes almost vile when it warms up and them proclaim that the article is a joke because there is only one type of beer and it tastes gross when warming up. Most craft beer drinkers and brewers already know that a flavorful beer should be enjoyed warmer to release the flavors.

i've been drinking some beers for awhile now at a chilly room temp. hell, i prefer some that have just been sitting in the garage, pop the cap and start sipping. same with some barley wines etc.

I never thought much about it, but it does seem true that really cold beer masks the true flavor and aroma of a beer.

It's funny how Coors advertises the Super Cold beers now.. indirectly stating that, yes, you don't want to smell or taste our beer's true flavors.

I find that different flavors come out as the beer warms.

In a coors light, there are no different flavors to enjoy! :D
