Working on my first build. With a ton of help from all the threads here I ordered my parts for a 110v BIAB system. I have started to build out a test set up (cheap 4gal 'kettle' for hardware stuff) and have all my wiring done thanks so much to P-J's diagrams. (Not that I totally followed them...LOL...but they helped me understand the parts.)

So I go to program my Auber PID (2352) and notice that my front panel is NOT like the instructions. I have:
Out
Al1
Al2
AT

But the instructions (and pics I can find on interwebz) show:
Al1
Al2
A-M
Out

This is really messing with my head. On my panel it 'appears' that AT is kicking on when the LED on SSR is kicking on. Then Out is lighting when my high alarm is supposed to be on, but I cannot get my low alarm to light AL2.

Is this a case of the panel is just wrong??? I cannot find this in the threads, so apologies if already addressed.

Not having the A-M light tells me you have one without the manual mode option but the picture on the web site clearly shows the A-M light.

You have the wrong part.

Sounds like the model you have received does not have the manual power percentage control which helps a lot when trying to keep a controlled boil. Auber also has models that are not for use with SSR's, I have never used that brand but its supposed to be really good. My cheap "Mypin" brand PID has the same labels that you are describing you have, the AT comes on when it sends current to the SSR, and the alarms are a completely separate functions. Be sure to run the auto calibration and you will be golden.

Not losing my mind. Just called Auberins and he confirmed there was a shipment around april or may that had wrong stick on panel thing on front.

And just like that he is going to send me a new stickon to replace the incorrect one.

I had the exact same situation. Sorry I didn't see your thread sooner. It will take you about 2 minutes to swap out the face plate sticker. You remove the old one by heating it up with a hair dryer, then peeling a corner up. I used an exacto knife to peel it up.

I am fairly certain Auber PIDs are made in the far east and relabelled, so it sounds like they just got a different batch in.
