"Excuse me, while I whip this out!"

Side fact: My daughter wants me to do the "Dad's Dance" this year for her dance class. This is where a bunch of dads get up on stage and perform a medley of dance moves with their daughters in front of a bunch of other parents. It's really just a way to embarrass the dads, IMO.

She says this year they are probably going to do "Whip It". I don't listen to crap music, so I don't' know what this is.

I feel like we have moved on from talking about why people talk about IPAs to talking about why people talk about double and triple IPAs. That is WAY off topic

Maybe it's just me, but I find it lame when people add short little stupid posts to a thread with the sole (and explicit) purpose of extending the thread superficially. I think in order for it to have meaning, a thread has to keep growing on its own, organically, through ongoing actual conversation, not just a bunch of

":turtle:! Are we at 300 yet???"

Come on, we're better than that. Allow me to assist.

The best vessel in which to ferment beer is a glass carboy. It's economical, reliable, easy to clean, readily available, oxygen-impermeable, and allows you to see your beer as its fermenting. If you use stainless steel conicals, you're a dirty rich 1%-er who is just showing off. If you're so rich, go buy a bunch of craft beer instead of trying to hang out with the hearty homebrewing crowd. Plastic buckets are for poor people. Discuss.

If you rack your beer to secondary, it will definitely have at least some degree of oxidation in it, and thus is categorically inferior to beer fermented in a single vessel, and then racked to a stainless steel keg purged with CO2 (the only proper way to store/serve beer). You may like it, it may be perfectly decent beer, but it's undeniable that it would have been even better if you hadn't oxidized it a little by racking it to secondary (not to mention, you probably infected it). Discuss.

Donald Trump is the best thing to ever happen to the USA. He's created hundreds of thousands of jobs, he's fiercely patriotic, he's an A-list celebrity, he builds beautiful buildings all over the country, stimulating massive amounts of economic activity. You should be so lucky that he wants to be your president. Discuss.

If you don't rehydrate your dry yeast, you're underpitching. If you don't make starters with your liquid yeast, you're underpitching. End of story. Discuss.

Beer makes me subpar...come to think of it I can't make par even when I'm not drinking beer. :mug:

This post has everything.

Beer makes me subpar...come to think of it I can't make par even when I'm not drinking beer. :mug:

Hadn't played in 2 years... Used to hit low 90s. Night before the 500, my buddy's brother (who's working into the PGA, averaging low 70s) asks me to play at his course. I oblige... Lost count after 14. Even with some "special" cookies, I couldn't play. At least I didn't care about loosing 2 sleeves of balls

No it does not.
It is clearly lacking :turtle:

Well, actually... it has two.

Love the Stefan reference, by the way.

"This post has everything. An albino serving tequila from a banjo. A donkey that speaks fluent French. And a human Roomba. That's that thing of when a midget rolls around on one of those mechanic's roller thingys, while scooping up garbage with his little arms and scaring the heck out of your cat."

Me either - and I only play disc-golf.

I don't play anymore, but towards the end I redefined par as when you find the same number of balls as you lost.

reminds me of american psycho, which reminds me best halloween costume I ever saw was a guy wearing an atm that said "feed me a cat"

have you heard the song Mothra by Atomship? pretty epic. also amazing drummer. saw one dude trying to play it out on youtube and he cut his hand on the crash symbol when muting it, trying to keep up
