I wasn't going to answer this thread, but after reading almost everyone else's I just have to. Who's going to read it besides the next 2-3 people who respond to this thread directly after me? lol

Never did care to have baby goats in the house, though SWMBO thinks they are extremely cute. We have 2 Brittanys, a Toy Fox Terrier and we keep a Tennessee Walker. No human offspring as of yet.

6. Do you smoke?
I chose to stay away from all tobacco products entirely until 6 months ago. I researched the data and deliberately made the decision to start smoking cigars and pipes now that I am willing to take the associated risk. Still stay away from cigarettes and inhaling any kind of smoke.

7. What way do you "lean" politically?
I definitely consider myself conservative. But many conservatives associate some of my stances with liberals (for instance, my opposition to drug prohibition). I am not afraid to vote 3rd party - we currently have an echo, not a choice of parties in the USA.

8. Are you religious?
I pursue absolute truth and change my beliefs accordingly. I have found that the Biblical Christian worldview most accurately describes and represents objective reality. I don't preach down anybody's throats but I can give reasons why I believe what I believe and would love to chat with anyone who is on a similar pursuit of truth. I also believe we are in the time of Galileo again: The collective church is resisting pure scientific progress and losing credibility fast because of it, even though the new science makes a better case for the God of the Bible than the worldview they refuse to let go of. God has common sense too. I have yet to find a body of people in my area big enough to be called a church that shares this perspective.

9. What do you drive?
'00 VW Passat wagon, but with a 50+ mile-each-way commute and gas threatening $4/gal this summer, I'm shopping for a motorcycle right now.

Polite and soft-spoken in person. I do my best to get along with all personality types. Tend to get along better with people older than me than those younger than me. However, I'm known to be a smart@#% at times.

11. Do you believe in global warming?
Hmmm... why do you have to ask if someone "believes" in it? If the thermometers say the temp has gone up then it's gone up. To say otherwise would be like saying God created a light wave in mid-stream so it would hit our telescopes at precisely the right angle to make it LOOK like it was 5 billion years old. There's nothing to "believe" in as long as we're talking the cold hard facts of the 1500-year climate cycles. But if you're talking about the political movement to control the lives of the masses, ruin the world's economy and exterminate billions of people just because the weather is changing... yes I believe that movement exists and no I don't believe in its cause.

I played warlock in a MMORPG called World of Warcraft for nearly two years. My warlock is all decked out in epic gear from the 40-man raid content (through BWL and some AQ if anyone cares). I have a level 70 warrior as well, switched main characters when the expansion came out. My prepaid balance on the canceled account will run out on the 23rd. And no, I'm not going to sell it.

11. Do you believe in global warming? Yes, there is certainly something to it (melting glaciers, changing weather everywhere, etc.) but I'm not sure to what extend I should believe certain media (Fox bs propaganda)
12. Tell us something about yourself that we'd never guess. Came to homebrewing b/c I moved from Beer Heaven to Dishwater Country. Love my dirt bike, ice hockey, soccer, traveling, boats, etc. Biggest thing barely anybody knows is me not knowing what I want to do after school plus leaving Florida for some other part of the country.

This is tough. I vote and my voter registration says republican. I used to have strong classic democratic leanings, then swayed more to the right. I would say I am for the person/policy that comes closest to my personal ethics regardless of party.

Go to church more than just Christmas and Easter, but not every sunday. Raised Catholic, mom got born again in HS so statred going to babtist services, then married a greek orthodox. When I am in church, it is the greek ones and they do not speak english often so I am not sure who we are praying to.

07 Accord. My coolness is dwindleing.

I hear that I come off as a jerk for first impressions. When I am around my friends there is a ton of sarcasm and inside jokes, so I can see that. In a word... Reserved

I won a forklift driver competition for a regional trucking company in college. I was one of the few part time employees in the company, and the only part timer that ran the forks (tow motor).

No, I believe in global freezing. The earth has been getting cooler over the past few years. Soon the core temperature will drop so much that the earth's core will stop spinning, so we will have to drill into it in a ship made from unobtanium in order to detonate nuclear explosions to get it spinning again.

Oh, and xjiefx: Blanche de Chambly is awesome. Also good, which I just found for the first time this weekend, is the Belgian Style Wit from Mill St. Brewery in Toronto. I did a little side-by-side with Blanche de Chambly last night, and the Wit is more citrusy and overall a little stronger flavour. You might want to check it out if they have it in Quebec.

I believe in the scientific method. If someone could show me well constructed experiments to test specific hypotheses and statistical analysis of the results that showed man was warming the earth (or better yet: not, not warming the earth), then I would believe 100%.
