Hi,
For my Dead Ringer IPA recipe, everything was going fine till I was directed to add 1 oz of dry cascade hops a week prior to bottling.
The hops properly floated at the top, then after a couple of days - what looked like a white/grey mold started to spread out over the surface.
It's now a week, and this 'mold' covers the full surface. I'm sure I properly sanitized everything. The temperature in the room has been a constant 70 degrees.
Could it be anything else? Do I try priming and bottling -or am I doomed.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jeff
