White specks floating on Kombucha - mold?

Hi,

I started brewing my first batch of Kombucha and on Day 2 I noticed some white specks floating on the top. The next day they had grown bigger.

Is this mold or is it ok?

A new scoby is growing just beneath the surface of the liquid and is still translucent. The white specks appear to float on top.

Day 3:
If you look carefully you can see a smaller circle inside the larger circle - the small circle was there on Day 2 and then it grew to the bigger circle on Day 3.

Day 5:

I’ve look at loads of photos on the internet and I’m still unsure, so any help would be much appreciated. It doesn’t seem to be fuzzy.
