Between a triple scale hydrometer color coded or Triple scale hydrometer green line which is better?

A hydrometer is better than no hydrometer.

It's all personal preference, whichever is easier for you to read.

I have the triple scale multicolored.

a cheap triple scale is a cheap triple scale so it doesn't matter. all of them are better than nothing.

a good hydrometer costs about $20
a good hydrometer will have a wider scale on the same total length. .980-1.020/1.040ish, 1.00-1.070ish and 1.060-1.130ish. so about $60 for a set, another $10 or so for a capillary tube vinometer

a dedicated brix scale is also good to have for wine made by starting with real fruit .
