Patience and Craigslist is key. Just got 8 ball locks with over 15 QD's, 5 new lids, about 20 posts. And a bag of new o rings all sizes. $200. Woohoo
orangemen5 said:Patience didnt work for me. Checked my local craigslist for about a year with maybe 2 post about corny kegs and they weren't great deals. They were asking going rates. Must be alot of homebrewers in my area. Finally just bought mine from adventures in home brewing. 4 pin locks came to $31. Another $18 to ship them. Very happy with them.
Found them for $49.99.

In 6 months, you will be thinking that $49.00 was a great deal...!!!
Buy now...buy often...they ain't gonna get any cheaper boys and girls.
The prices keep climbing. I'm buying new. I only need a few more. It's a lifetime investment and I don't want the fuss that my 3 used kegs create.
Can't see what the "fuss" is ALL kegs will need new o-rings and poppets at some point they will get dents and dings over time. I can get 3>1 buying used is no fuss![]()
I've looked and looked and I honestly don't think you will find a better and more consistently available price.
Just caught an ad on my local Craigslist of a guy getting out of the hobby and selling off his corny kegs.
I got 7 five gal ball lock kegs for $100!
One is missing the lid, but other than that they're in great shape!
Have the Ad info looking for a few 10's
