@sheephrdr, my last roommate/landlord was a bricklayer foreman (the guy who gave out the running orders, dunno what they're called), and he claimed he could get away with any crime he wanted because his job basically wore off his fingerprints.

how accurate is that claim?

lol well ive never thought of that but looking at my prints right now, and they are missing (been busy lately) but when it slows down they grow back so he is full of it unless he stays on the tools, besides your finger print would still be unique as I believe they make you roll your finger.

College Dropout that decided it would be more fun to work for a brewery than to finish my degree in business. I currently work and have worked for about a year and a half with a small brewery in South-Eastern Washington. Progressed from;

Bartender to Bar-Manager (than back down) to Brewers assistant. Haven't had so much fun in years!

Bravo – wish I would have had your brave spirit in my youth. I never learned much worth knowing in college anyway.

Heres what i learned in college: getting all the grades wont help for **** if you dont own your own vehicle.

Here i thought being a licensed HVAC guy would guarantee me a job. That was 5 years ago and still nothing.

Damn quite the crowd of professionals in here. I am a saute line cook in a really busy brewery/restaurant. Love most of the people i work with and never have a dull night. I would like to pursue my real passion for welding and somehow incorporate that with brewing equipment. Stainless junkie as well :) Slowly working towards a new career but for now this pays the bills and i enjoy some of the perks that go with it; especially the beer i enjoy everyday after busting ass in a hot kitchen all night! I chat with the brewers every once in a while and have learned quite a bit from them!

I'm a Sous Chef on the Smithsonian, National Museum of the American Indian. Lots of cool and different food we get to work with and awesome history to back it up!

PA State Corrections Officer. (read "Adult Babysitter")

Currently working in a Restricted Housing Unit, the jail within the jail lol

Just wanted to update, I was a Microbiologist at a Healthcare manufacturer, now I am a Microbiologist at a craft brewery in Chicago.

Any 'positive' results that you would be willing to share with us who drink Chicago craft beer? How often do they dump a batch? Lagunitas?
